Sunday Specialist Training will be back again for all U9 to U16. The aim of this training is for the athletes who wish to have extra coaching in small training groups prior to Southern Metro Region (SMR) (17th & 18th February) & State Track & Field (10th & 11th March) or those athletes who would like to focus on certain events for skill development. They will be held on:
- Sunday 28th January
- Sunday 4th February
- Sunday 11th February
- Sunday 25th February
- Sunday 4th March
The sessions are 90 minutes in duration and each event has a maximum number athletes eg: Long Jump Max of 10 athletes. Times will be advised once confirmed but will be more than likely be 3pm onwards. There is a $10 charge per session to help subsidise the coaching fees. We are hoping to hold these training sessions at a proper athletics track with jumping pits and throw rings. Further details will be sent soon. Athletes will need to register via the website.
