LA Vic State Relays – Saturday December 15th
Team Caulfield had 19 teams qualify and compete in the State Relay Championships on Saturday December 15th. We had some fantastic results, lots of fun and tough competition on a blustery Melbourne day which had rain, sunshine, storms and everything in between.
Of the 19 teams competing an amazing 14 of these made it through to the finals. It is a great achievement to make it to the state championships so a big congratulations to all our athletes. Our medal tally at the end of the day was three gold medals and four silver medals. Quite a few of the teams were just outside the medals with four 4th placings and two 5th placings.

Congratulations to all the Caulfield teams who made it to the state championships an amazing achievement! We are very proud of you all!
Once again thank you to the fantastic parents for completing duty, to the relay team managers who are so proud of all their athletes we appreciate all you have done. Thanks to Jason Whittle and Sheridan English for being the Caulfield Team Managers and keeping everyone organised on the day. Thanks Russell Harper for representing Caulfield as an official out on the track for a 12 hour day. Not sure how you do it but we appreciate your energy and commitment. Thanks again to the Caulfield coaches Jason Hodson, James Vine, Aisling O’Connor Buckley, Sienna Fighera and Morgan Mc Gregor your support and coaching has been fantastic.
A huge thank you to Sheridan English and Russell Harper for co ordinating the relays over the past 3 months. Thank you for all the hard work, late nights and being there to lead us. Relays are like a marathon for all those involved and it is hard work coordinating so many people. It truly is a team effort on and off the field. Congratulations and well done everyone.

Murrumbeena Community Bank Donation
We are very proud to announce our Caulfield Little Athletics principle sponsor donation made recently at the community opening celebration of the Duncan Mackinnon Reserve. In what has been a 10 year relationship with Bendigo Bank Murrumbeena Community Branch their strong support continues of Caulfield Little Athletics.
Senior Branch Manager Sue Foley presented the sponsorship cheque to Caulfield Little Athletics President Jason Whittle. Sue said she is very happy to support the Murrumbeena and surrounding communities and values the great work that Caulfield Little Athletics undertake with their young athletes.
Jason said that Caulfield Little Athletics greatly appreciate the ongoing support from Murrumbeena Community Bank – without such support we could not maintain such low membership fees and provision of our state of the art equipment.

2018-19 Registration
The portal for registration is open….and individual registration is still at last year’s $170. We aim to minimise the costs to families where possible so there are also discounts for subsequent members from the same family. See the rego tab for further clarification.
Our club relies on volunteers and each family needs to nominate for duty before registration is accepted. This link will be available upon registration. Any questions please contact the duty co-ordinator Andrew Mattinson on duty@caulfieldlittleaths.org.au.
